Hey all
Since no one is replying to my e-mails and no one wants to choose what to do, I guess I have to decide. As Ting Yan, Chantal, Sarah Lim, Shantelle and Izabel have done research and I have compiled, we are not included below.
To Research on how the links between Singapore and Vietnam are important:
-Sarah Wong
Note: Don't just cut and paste, distill the essence of the article and take the main points out so that it is easier for Nathalie to compile, get at least 2 to 3 articles regarding this point please
To Compile this and Sarah Lim's additional research into my previous document:
-Nathalie
Note: Nathalie if they don't send their research to you, please chase them for it - please complete compiling by tomorrow afternoon
To do the pp after the research has been done:
-Li Min
To do the script:
-Keisha
-Lorraine
Please decide amongst yourselves who is going to do what part, don't let this be just a normal pp presentation - you may make it into a skit/whatever you like. Print out a copy of the script once you've made sure that it's free of grammatical errors and mistakes. Just make sure that two people will be able to present it.
To present:
-Carol
-Esther
If your name is not here, please tell me.

Attention all ppl who haven't done anything for the N.E. presentation
Unfortunately, the research done by those ppl who did research does not really have much about why the links between singapore and vietnam is important.
More people need to research (prefably 3-4) and perhaps one person to compile everything into what I will have compiled by 12 pm today.
Please let everyone know if you will be researching/compiling. Note: If you don't do anything now, you'll have to do something later on.

Attention all ppl doing the N.E. presentation
Please suggest what kind of presentation we should do for N.E. and tell me by 12 pm tomorrow. If not, I'll just decide myself because no one else will do it.
The people who still haven't done anything, once we've decided what kind of presentation to do, please decide which part you are going to contribute in and tell everyone involved.
If there are too many people wanting to do a certain part (if there are parts), then some will have to be withdrawn.

Bring your giro forms tomorrow
Discuss in your group for the NE presentation/board decoration and start researching. The deadlines are really soon.
Here are the details for the projects:
Board decoration
Decorate the board (which will be provided) in relation to the country assigned - which in this case is London
Suggestions: Classes can decorate their boards on several themes. For example classes can focus on their costumes, festivals or food of the country they are assigned to.
Guidelines: Please note that there will be censorship. No racist comment of any type and no coarse or vulgar language is to be used on any part of the boards. Please be sensitive towards the country your class has been assigned to and be sensitive towards their race and religion.
Deadline: Your board decos will have to be completed and submitted by 30th March 09. Please note that you will have to strictly adhere to the deadlines or you will receive a zero for your informal assessment.
Rubrics: You will judged on three things. Creativity, originality and How well they are able to bring the message across, each weighing 5 points, which will add up to a total of 15 points.
Total marks: Total marks for both projects of each class will be tabulated and the top 3 classes with the highest points will win attractive prizes.
Presentation
Classes will have to do a presentation on the country assigned to their class (Vietnam for us).
What to include: The links between Singapore and Vietnam and why it is important for Singapore to have these links
What to hand up: A script must be included with your presentation. If our class' presentation is picked, it will be presented in front of the whole school and a script is needed.
Guidelines: Same as Board Deco
Deadline: Your presentations will have to be ready by 1st April 09. Please note that you will have to strictly adhere to the deadlines or you will receive a zero for your informal assessment.
Rubrics: Same as Board Deco
Total marks: Total marks for both projects of each class will be tabulated and the top 3 classes with the highest points will win attractive prizes.
If your class' presentation is picked, you may be selected to present it in front of the whole school cohort during the concert.

Hey everyone,
please be cooperative and check the CIP schedule weekly. Take note of your session for CIP and remember the date. Check it early so that if you cannot do it on that day, you can do a mutual swap with someone else.
Do not wait for the CIP com members to have to remind you. This is our responsibility to keep the ferns alive and healthy. Let me remind you that it was our choice to take on this project. Mrs Lam probably has high hopes for us.
So check the board for the CIP schedule. It only takes a few minutes at the most.
Hey 2G, all of you in Future Prob Solving bring 50 dollars tomorrow! Must remember! 2G cannot lose to the other classes!! I repeat, 2G cannot and must not lose to the other classes!
Be cooperative and as soon as you get into class, hand your money to Keisha, I think she should be collecting it.
