Wishing everyone a blessed Christmas:D in the midst of getting presents and giving presents, i hope everyone remembers the real reason why we are celebrating christmas:D to remember the birth of Christ!:D Remember to wish Jesus a happy birthday:D Hope everyone enjoys their christmas, God bless you and all the best for 2009. we are gonna be an awesome class again:D with miss tham and mrs lam leading us. but you may not want to listen to me cos both my Chinese and English are really bad.

here goes:
using 艾禺的小小说as an example, you may use this as guidelines:
1. keep the main idea, but change the point of view, time/date/generation kinda thingy(xP), change some details(?); leave the explanation/ending part.
For example:
(erm...... ohdear)通过 although the son is grateful to his mother for helping him regain his memory, but because his rich and powerful wife does not like his mother, the son does not want the mother to move from the old folks’ home to his home (from the son’s point of view), 说明 parent’s hard work to raise children is not rewarded by the children….(or smt like that... ek...xP)(keep the 说明part)
OR
2. keep the main idea, but change the point of view, time/date/generation kinda thingy(xP), change some details(?); change the ending/ explanation
for example:
通过the mother is overprotective of the son, the son's wife has no choice but to put her mother-in-law in the old folks’ home because she does not want to break up the family’s 和谐 ( from the daughter in law’s point of view), 说明 that children, in desperate situations, have no choice but to put their parents into the old folks home (change the back part must go by 说明 part)

了故事主题怎么会是一样的呢？
难道是换一个全新的故事来说明同一个主题吗？
如过去安全换了一个新的故事，那就不是改写了。
更何况如果连观点也没有换，那应该也不算是改写，而是加入了细节或更改细节。
但是，如果观点没有改变，主题也一样，故事大纲更是保留，又何必更改细节呢？
就让我以艾禺的小小说为例子（我们用在口试是的篇章），你们可以以此为参考：
1。保留原本的故事大纲，但是根据不同观点、时代等的改变，更动一些细节；保留后面说明的部分。
例如：通过儿子虽然感激母亲使他恢复记忆，但是因为有钱有势的妻子不喜欢母亲，因此仍然不愿意将她从老人院接回家里（从儿子的观点说故事），说明了一些父母含辛茹苦将孩子抚养长大却被孩子遗弃（保留要说明的部分）。
或者，
2。保留原本的故事大纲，但是根据不同观点、时代等的改变，更动一些细节；改变后面说明的部分。
例如：通过婆婆是如何过分保护儿子，挑剔媳妇，以致儿子与媳妇不得不把她送进老人院，免得她破坏了一家的和谐（从媳妇的观点来说故事），说明有时孩子们在迫不得已的情况下只好将父母送进老人院（改变后面要评说明的部分）。
是的，请把主题打在改写里。

关于主题：
整个主题都可以换掉。
因为当你选择从不同的观点，也就是你说的point of view出发时，你可能所要表达的主题就完全不一样了。
但是，你说得对，主要的故事大纲不能更动，可是情节倒是可以因为观点的不同而有所改变。
比如，《三只小猪》的故事，如果把它改变成从大恶狼的观点出发，大恶狼还是要去吹倒，甚至吃掉两只小猪的。只不过，通过打恶狼的嘴里说出的故事，或许错就不在它自己了。因为错不在自己，那一些细节的部分就应该有所改变。
又比如，你跟妹妹因为一件事发生争执吵了起来。你们分别向妈妈诉苦，说的是同一件事，但是两个人肯定会因为自己的观点不同，又或者因为两人的理解不同，甚至是两人之间的沟通出现问题而误解了对方，以致在叙述事件时细节的部分会有所不同。
明白了吗？
关于人物的本性：
